Life doesn’t always work out the way we’d hoped, because despite our best efforts, we will always be imperfect people, living in an imperfect world. We are faced with the effects of a broken world daily, and they impact our perception of ourselves. Before we know it, we become products of broken homes, broken relationships, broken self-image, broken identity, and the clay pot that is our life, continues to develop cracks the longer we live. It is difficult to see a cracked and damaged vessel, as useful or valuable. Because of our brokenness, a lot of us take on the same approach with our lives.
This channel seeks to highlight highlights how God uses our brokenness for His glory, by picking up our broken pieces, and filling up our cracked pots with His light and love, shining brightly for all the world to see, and marvel at what only He could do. Brokenness Meets Grace is a blog/podcast that highlights how God can use our brokenness for His glory, by filling up our cracked pots with His light and love, shining brightly for all the world to see.

This week my sister and I will be recording a podcast on a series we started earlier this year called the heroes of the bible. Our first episode was on the story of Moses. Out discussion was based on our view of some of the challenges Moses experienced and the moral choices he had to face that formed part of his story. This week we would like to highlight a heroine rather than a hero. Possibly one of the most extraordinary woman in the bible- Mary mother of Jesus. I am looking forward to unpacking this legendary individual’s life using historical facts and biblical accounts to help give a better understanding of her life as the chosen vessel for God’s begotten Son, and how a responsibility like that altered the trajectory of her life.
Embark on this wonderful journey as we highlight how God wastes nothing. What looks like a right off to the world, is often only the beginning of a beautiful masterpiece in the hands of The Potter.
