What You Need To Understand Before You Can Apply Godly Wisdom?

• Jesus had one mission- That’s almost all of what He ever preached/taught about. Bringing kingdom truth down to earth
• If you want to confuse someone, what do you do? (Deception)
• Sin was introduced because the enemy twisted the truth, and we CHOSE to believe it.
• As a result, sin entered the world ( death, heartache, pain, violence etc.) we handed over our God given dominion over to the enemy and he became the ruler of the world (prince of the air)
• That is why we are fed deception every single day, everywhere ( social media, TV, religion, culture, friends etc.) we are now a slave to lies. 
• It was never God’s intention for us to experience pain and suffering.
• Why would a good God create and allow bad things to happen?
• Good news- Jesus- God, came to win back our inheritance and freedom, and He did that when He died a sinner’s death, so we don’t have to and resurrected on the 3^rd day.
• By overcoming death on the cross, he defeated satan and took back what the enemy stole from us. BUT…. We have to believe all of this as true and want to be free from the lies to be able to be free from it. (CHOICE)
• The only way to counter deception is to know the truth. How do you know truth when your fed lies everywhere?
• If the whole world is polluted by lies- because satan is the ruler than truth can only come from outside of the world, yes?
• That’s where Jesus comes in- Heaven is a kingdom outside of the world and Jesus came to bring us truth ( the original truth before the world was corrupted by sin) 
• A truth so opposite to the world’s lies- it almost makes no sense to us because we are so used to deceit.
• This is where wisdom comes in- Jesus did not only teach the truth, but He Is the Truth. Truth is a person and wisdom is accessed through truth.

Why Wisdom?

True Success in life comes from understanding and applying godly wisdom. ( Not from money, popularity, being a good/religious person, education etc.) Attaining success through godly wisdom is such an easy concept to identify but extremely difficult to apply. If we get this right, we have access to the key that unlocks the treasure chest ( And we really want to open the chest). But like pirates looking for treasure you have to believe it exists then look, search, decipher to find it. Its takes intention, discipline, persistent and desire to find the treasure that is wisdom. I started this year on a search for wisdom and I have discovered great treasures that I would like to share with you.

What is Treasure?

• Pirates are criminals/ robbers who travel on water- ships
• They make their living off stealing people’s valuables, other ships and people’s belongings in the oceans/seas
• They love gold so much that they believe there is buried treasure hidden on islands that need to be found
• This treasure can only be found using a treasure map
• This map offers clues and route to where the treasure CAN be found
• Their believe in this treasure (FAITH) is what drives them to search an find this treasure regardless of the trials they come across along the way.
• It will be worth the trouble once they find it- solve all their problems
• The kingdom of God is exactly like this treasure.
