The Dethroned Self

Before You Begin

The Dethroned Self is not a foundational discipleship course for new believers. It is designed for mature Christians who have already established strong spiritual foundations and are ready to grow in Kingdom responsibility, stewardship, leadership, and influence.

This course is recommended for individuals who scored at the Lord, King, or Son level on the Spiritual Maturity Assessment (Take The Test). These levels indicate a believer who is moving beyond personal spiritual growth and is beginning to understand Kingdom purpose, authority, and impact.

If you scored at the Servant or Steward level, we encourage you to first complete our foundational discipleship and personal formation courses before progressing to The Dethroned Self.

This journey is not about finding your place in the Kingdom. It is about learning how to faithfully govern, steward, and influence the place God has already entrusted to you.

Introduction

Before we can influence the world around us, we must first learn how to govern ourselves. Throughout this course, we will explore what it means to live under God’s leadership, steward our lives well, and bring Kingdom culture into every environment we touch.

Many people think of a kingdom as castles, crowns, and rulers. However, God’s Kingdom is much deeper than that. The Kingdom is God’s way of doing things. It is His influence, His values, His character, and His purpose being expressed through His people.

From the very beginning, humanity was given a mandate to steward creation, cultivate what was entrusted to them, and reflect God’s nature in the earth. This responsibility was never simply about power—it was about purpose, stewardship, and influence.

As you move through these lessons, allow yourself to reflect honestly, apply the principles practically, and invite God to shape your thinking. Kingdom Government begins within before it can be expressed around us.
